Avoidable Excuses
How your Excuses can stall your MLM goal
The multi level marketing system is a great business system that presents a level playing field for all categories of people irrespective of their academic qualification, experience and societal standing or status.
I have heard green horns in the multi level marketing system make great boasts about starting big. A friend of mine has been preparing to launch it big for about a year now. His reasons are as follows;
- He wants to be able to design and host a world class website where he would kick start his multi level marketing business.
- Wants to play safe by not talking to anyone personally about his business, but still wants to make his multi level marketing business very great.
- Hates being rejected by prospects.
- Wants to guarantee that he has a lot of money to be able to meet with the monthly order of products.
After listening to these excuses, I advised him thus.
- The start up capital of any good multi level marketing business does not have to be huge; this is one of the things that distinguish it from a traditional business setup.
- There is no way you can start and run an effective multi level marketing business without talking to people, mouth to mouth advertising has proved to be a very effective means of selling goods and services.
- Rejection is one of the excitements of the multi level marketing business. More often than not, you see some of the people that had rejected you in the past coming back to you when they begin to see you succeed.
- A good multi level marketer should be able to manage what he has to get what he wants.
Our limiting beliefs can become the major setback to effective start up of our multilevel marketing business and the sooner as we are able to overcome these objections, the more successful we could become.

So the jury asks the woman first. She says, "Well I carried this child around in my stomach for nine months and I had to go through a painful birth process, this is my child and a part of me."
The jury is impressed and then turns to ask the man the same question. The man replies, "OK, I take a coin and put it in the drink machine and a drink comes out, now tell me who does the drink belong to me or the machine"

She said, "I think I broke his gambling". The father asked how and she said, "He bet me $20 that I had a mole on my butt, so I pulled down my pants and won his money."
"DAMN!" said the father. "What's wrong?", the teacher asked. Little CHRIS's father said, "This morning he bet me $200 he would see his teacher's butt before the day was over!"

American Fork, Utah - ‘Afa Palu clearly remembers an event from his childhood that played out like this: he would gather around with the village children and they would engage in a rousing game of mapu tuitui.
Just as the fun got heated, his grandmother and mother would call on ‘Afa to accompany them to ‘uta to gather medicinal leaves, a task he hated at the time because it always interfered with his fun.

One night he came home and found all his belongings sitting outside the door. You check out in the morning, you check in at night!”
“I then realized that the goals I set when I was single does not fit in marriage.” he laughs.
At the advice of a professor, ‘Afa decided to invest in a time management plan and to simplify his schedule. He changed Chemistry to a minor and changed his Computer Science to an Associate’s Degree and changed Pre-Med to Biology Science.
While taking a genetics class, he became fascinated with the world of microbes. An experiment in isolating DNA in bacteria fueled a passion to delve deeper into the world of molecular science.
‘Afa approached his professor about this idea of genetically engineering termites to break down the landfills in Hawaii. After the weighing all the options, the possibilities and the consequences, they decided it would be too big of a task, probably requiring a full scale operation in a closed facility like the US military.
“My professor told me “You are getting to be a nut!” ‘Afa recalls.
His next dream was solving the coconut dilemma in Hawaii. Coconuts are a liability, meaning any property owner with a coconut tree can be sued if someone was suddenly struck by a fallen coconut. ‘Afa proposed to eliminate the gene that produces the coconut, so that the tree only produces leaves, or genetically alter the coconut to prolong the maturing process. His professor said that’s impossible.
‘Afa didn’t let that stop him. He asked his professor, “What about tomatoes?” Tomatoes at the time were shipped from California, usually small and unripe because it is picked so early and expected to ripen during shipment. ‘Afa proposed picking local tomatoes before they fully mature and while they still hold their shape. Then the tomatoes would be exposed to ethylene gas, which is a natural gas emitted by fruits and vegetables when ripening. This would expedite the process.
His professor thought it was a great idea, but ‘Afa received a phone call from his wife a day later to find out that someone had beaten him to it. He went home and she showed him a tape of a CNN story on Flavor Savor tomatoes, which used the same concept that ‘Afa had discussed with his professor.
“My wife said to me, “I used to think you were a nutcase but now I see you are closer to reality!”
At that pivotal moment, ‘Afa knew he belonged in the field of molecular biology. He became interested in studying the human body on a cellular level and after BYU-Hawaii, he moved with his family to Utah to begin his graduate work at BYU in Provo.
While at BYU, he met a professor who was researching the properties of Nonu and it peaked ‘Afa’s interest. ‘Afa’s background in molecular biology, coupled with his knowledge of traditional healing passed down from his family, was the right marriage that Tahitian Noni International was looking for. Soon, ‘Afa became one of their top researchers.
His job now is to research how Nonu affects the human body on a cellular level. He has discovered that the Nonu fruit can heal so many ailments, including gout, a condition that affects many Polynesians.
Because of FDA regulations, Tahitian Noni is limited in what they can claim, but many Polynesians have known the benefits of Nonu long before the founders of Tahitian Noni and the western world stumbled upon it.
‘Afa still remembers from his childhood how they would go to ‘uta with his uncle, and his uncle would cut up ripe Nonu fruit and they would all gather around and eat it.

American Fork, Utah - ‘Afa Palu clearly remembers an event from his childhood that played out like this: he would gather around with the village children and they would engage in a rousing game of mapu tuitui.
Just as the fun got heated, his grandmother and mother would call on ‘Afa to accompany them to ‘uta to gather medicinal leaves, a task he hated at the time because it always interfered with his fun.
In hindsight, ‘Afa is forever grateful for that experience because it has led him to the most unexpected place - the biology lab at Tahitian Noni International, located in American Fork, Utah. Now, he speaks with utmost reverence for the knowledge posed by his mother and grandmother and all Polynesian traditional healers.
‘Afa came to BYU-Hawaii in the late 80’s from Tonga, with resilience and lofty ambitions - to graduate with three Bachelor’s Degrees. He enrolled in Computer Science, Pre-Med and Chemistry. “I was actually on track to get all three!” he said.
But things didn’t work out the way he had hoped. ‘Afa had forgotten an important element - his wife Kalisi and their newborn son. ‘Afa was so into his schooling that he would leave in the morning at 7:00 in the morning and come home at 12:00 midnight. One night he came home and found all his belongings sitting outside the door. He knocked on the door and Kalisi opened the door and said “What do you want?” ‘Afa replied he wanted to come in and she said, “Go to a hotel. You come and go like your home is a hotel. You check out in the morning, you check in at night!”
“I then realized that the goals I set when I was single does not fit in marriage.” he laughs.

Social Anxiety Or Depression
Social anxiety or depression is something that can be very frustrating and hard to overcome, it usually means that someone finds it very difficult to socialise with other people, be in large groups of people, be confident enough to meet new people and things like that.
Often times when a person suffers from social anxiety or depression they will try to avoid social events as much as they can and can become very lonely because of it, this can make the problem even worse.
When someone who suffers from social anxiety is in a situation in which they are not comfortable, often they will simply not talk or try to get out of the situation quickly. Sometimes the cause of this is simply down to confidence and self-esteem issues, maybe you don't feel as though you are good enough to be around certain people or that you are "different" from them.
Some of the physical symptoms of social anxiety in social situations are things like sweating a lot, blushing, shaking, feeling sick, confusion and other things. This can occur in many different situations such as simply speaking to your work boss, meeting new people at a bar, doing group or public speaking.
There are three types of social anxiety that a person can suffer from, these are...
Performance anxiety - This occurs in situations in which the person has to perform for others, things such as public speaking, performing on stage, this can lead to people avoiding such situations.
Generalized anxiety - This is probably the most common, it can affect a person in many situations such as simply talking to new people, going to a social event, starting a new job.
Avoidant personality disorder - This is considered by many to be the most severe form of social anxiety, usually the person will try to avoid all situations in which anxiety can occur, this makes it extremely hard to make friends and meet a partner.
There are treatments for these anxieties and you should get in touch with your doctor if you feel you are suffering from them, this is a step in the right direction.

Noni Facts and History
HISTORY – Noni has been used for over 2000 years by the French Polynesians.

I still believe in the super eagles of Nigeria, I know that the end has not come for Nigeria in this nations cup. Leaf poultices were used to treat skin abscesses and boils. Fresh, crushed leaves were rubbed on to chest to help relieve chest colds.

Tahitian Noni Juice – Scientific Facts

Left untreated, the mice died from tumor growth withing 9 -12 days after receiving the injection. A portion of the mice used in the study were treated with Tahitian noni juice, in five separate daily treatments.
The noni juice was shown to significantly increase the life span, from between 105 and 123 percent, of the treated mice, with 9 of 22 mice surviving more than fifty days. This experiment was repeated on a different lot of mice, with similar results.
